Bible verses about hospitality

"Hospitality" derives from the Latin word "host", which in English means "power". So "hospitality" literally means to be "lord of strangers". Nowadays this term has come to mean the care and provision of strangers (for example, Hospitals, Hospices and Hostels) and entertainment and comfort in the hospitality service industries - for example - hotels and resorts. The bible considers that hospitality is a gift from God (1 Peter 4:8-10), an important quality for anyone within church life (Romans 12:10-13) and a prerequisite attribute for those in church leadership (Titus 1:8).
